Brandon Hillard

About Me

Master's student studying computer science at the University of Cincinnati.

Having worked within many diverse teams, I have had experiences all across the computer science spectrum ranging from data analytics, web design, software architecture design, embedded systems, and machine learning to name just a few.

Outside of my studies, I am the current President of the UC Team Handball Club. Serving as one of the club's leaders for growing the collegiate game in America, I have frequently collaborated with the USA Olympic Committee when overseeing league events, international officiating, or ways to grow the game in general!

In my freetime I am an avid sports fan and consistently use my love of computer science and data analytics to give me just enough reason to watch any game while trying to fine tune predictive models. I hope you enjoy my posts about my projects, thoughts, and new experiences!

Midmark: Embedded / Firmware Engineering

Learned to apply software and hardware connectivity solutions to collect and analyze real time data in the cloud obtained from devices across the globe. Lead development of a new low level code, firmware device to be used across multiple departments in collecting and analyzing data in the field.

Summer 2021
Versailles, OH

Midmark: Software / Application development

Took part in every step of the app development process from producing UI/UX solutions on next generation devices to algorithmically optimizing app performance dynamically leading to around 200% speed up time while simplifying 3D to 2D imaging.

Perimetrics AI: Fullstack and Data Science

Gained experience working in a fast paced, data science focused, full stack environment dedicated to delivering high resolution data to both customers and partners to constantly improve on cutting edge technology utilized by the team within our product.
